I've had an empty garage for the last few weeks so I finally got around to a spruce up. Nowhere near the best garage but I'm really pleased with the result.

That's quite an impressive transformation. Nice job, although does now almost look too clean biggrin
Lovely job.

Main build now complete, just electrics and flooring to do. (Both of which should be done by the end of the weekend)
Door handles are conrods! biggrin

Very smart to put the word “Garage” above the door so it’s totally clear that just because there isn’t a car in there at the moment that doesn’t mean it should be used for storing garden tools, patio furniture, horse feed or anything else. Hmph.

Finally got around to fitting a lift in my garage.

Nice. I'm also a 2-post advocate well. I use mine loads.

Looks a neat (and tight) setup in there, especially the door and the tracks etc.

Lovely VX as well - Also used to own one..

Also designed to be just long and wide enough to contain two of the cars - nothing else!

Good number plate too. Double man points.
Correction, terribly spaced number plate. I like the car and ramp though.

Nothing compared to everyone else’s posts, however it’s my first garage so I’m excited to have some space.

(Living in Japan that’s hard to come by!)

the thing that make me look at most of these and swoon is just the width, being able to get a car in and open the doors fully / get bikes etc past them!

Yup, I would love a bigger garage but there is no space to extend and moving house is hugely expensive (and we like the house and the area we live in currently). I'll just have to content myself with my small single garage - its better than not having a garage at all!

Loving this thread, great to see everyone's creativity!

Been at my place for 4 years so its around where I want it for now, all done ready for building the car. Has stairs to a room above so has plenty of storage underneath.

First thing I did when we moved in to our new build was paint the garage.......priorities!

Selected Ecotiles after trying a few samples, great quality and they also seemed to be the only one offering light/dark grey rather than the usual black/grey. Very simple to lay, no adhesive, just interlock together. Cut the edges leaving 5-10mm depending on the temperature and away you go. Took around 2 hours.

If I was doing it again, I’d hire/source a guillotine rather than saw, it created a hell of a mess.
