They are 48W 600x600 LED panels on the ceiling and 72W 600x1200 on the walls. I just want maximum light in there for working on the car. They are on the wall because a 2 post lift is going in and when a car is raised it will cast a shadow on the underside.

It starts looking clinical but it will be a proper working garage.

There are some lovely garages on here. Even the ones that haven't even been started yet as you can see the potential.

Mine was finally finished off last week while the car was away for its service. Left hand side fitted, whole place cleaned, walls re-painted, bike rack on wall and the floor steam cleaned.

I'm rather please to say the least.

Cheers all

My car is now back in mine for scale.

That's a BIG single garage! I was wondering why so much ceiling height, then I read you're putting in a two poster. May I ask what size the room is?

It's 11m x 5m, I can fit two cars lengthways as the staircase will (soon) be able to retract fully into the ceiling.

Good looking space.

What are those lights? I also like that you have some low down on the walls.
Lovely space id like to know about those lights also and what color are those tiles? Also did you use colored grout or just filled with the grey adhesive?

Cheers

Suppose you can get them in two by two, side by side as well.

Here's the proposed elevations of what mine should look like by christmas (close on land next week, start building asap). Because the house and garage are a new build, we are lucky enough to be able to spec it out from scratch. So, it will have a custom roof and a thicker than normal concrete slab floor to allow for a 2 poster to be installed. smile

Would 1 big door not be better than 2 small ones?
