Great article! I'm fortunate to have one of these cars, bought in Feb, and am after recomendations of where I can find an expert to look after it. I googled 'Quattro Sports' but that just comes up with a load of Audis for sale! Any ideas or experiences gratefully recieved!
They changed their name to QST a few years back (Audi took issue with them using the name "Quattro" You can find them here - http://www.qstuning.com/

hmmmm.....beginning to sway back towards getting an S2 Avant next year and getting busy with the RS2 mods!
Might also have something to do with the lovely L plate metallic grey one I saw in Shoreditch this morning

Back in the 90's I worked for an IT company. The company was run by three directors. As the company become for successful each director decided to treat themselves.
Director 'A' bought himself a Ferrari (probably a 355?).
Director 'B' bought himself an AC Cobra
Director 'C' needed to buy something stealth to fool the wife. He approached the local Audi garage and said - "What Audi can I buy that's very fast, doesn't look to flash and can carry my dogs?"
The rest is history. I was lucky to passenger in his RS2 a few times. The first car I had ever sat in and felt acceleration that just seemed relentless.
Fantastic car!

Fantastic car!
My tuned 10v mb ur quattro delights in revs and produces good acceleration from 2500rpm with only tiny lag, my RS2 does not understand such a reserve, it is a question of hang on = "it then says we are gone" which it does with outrageous ease. This this the fastest cross country vehicle I have ever driven. Both Audis are not to be sold as each is a unique exercise in fwd technology, dont care how old they are.
Hi,
owning one myself(not original though) i have to say that the smile is there, and the power is not easy to get used to.
The red one posted above on the youtube link,is heavily moded and about 500hp so not the perfect example!!
Also Audi made 2 RS2 sedans based on the S2 sedans. One of them is still on the Audi basement very nice and untouched( i dont know how many Kms it has done) but basically both were owned by audi directors etc.
There have been some rs2 sedan replicas and they are not hard to make anyway,if you have an avant S2 and a sedan quattro B4.Atually there is a talk among people as to whether the B4 FWD can be made into a quattro without modifying the chassis and some think that it is possible!
Anyway, the RS2 is the car that until today still seems to me better than most of the new cars.It still feels alive! It may understeer and not be well distributed, but with a few modifications you an get by that and always have fun.... you and your family!!
