So Called "Reverse Badging" is just as sad as any other form in my opinion because it is done in the belief that the owner is actually being in some way amusing... rolleyesrolleyes

The only way reverse badging can work is if you also make the rest of the car down spec as well. Get rid of the alloys, remove the bodykit etc. Putting the 318i badge on the M3 or 1.9TDi badge on an RS4 is pointless unless you make it completely look like a down graded model otherwise it has no sleeper effect and everyone will think you're a chav.

That's the problem with comedy badging as well, you may think you are being funny but most people will actually believe you really are a tt who believes the badges. It's like walking around in a borat style mankini, you and three of your drunk friends may think it's incredibly funny but most people are just thinking what a prat you look like.

Yeah yeah, very good. It doesn't actually mention which type of ZT-T, which is what I thought this thread was about.

i fell victim when i started driving to putting one of those awful 16v badges on the back of my sunny, at least it was acctually a 16v.

Removed now however, infact all rear badges are removed, but that only because i repainted the bottom half of the boot due to tin worm laugh

I might badge my Supercharged RR Sport as a Q7.

At least I'll be hated just a little bit more than usual.

Never trust a brummy to fit an exhaust. If that's not done right, what else isn't?

I admit to putting - Sport stickers on my Vauxhall Chevette, I can assure you there was nothing remotely sporty about it smile

The amount of Saxo VTRs with the 16v badges is funny, someone should let them know they only have 8.

Yep, that's me. It was supplied originally by F J Chalke of Mere in Wiltshire. I bought it from SMC in High Wycombe though.

Wow, small world. Hope you liked it. I bought it back in the Spring and have found it to be really good. Wish I could afford a Dreadnought supercharger though.

Do you still work at Chalkes?
