misbadging cars

BMW do an e46 318 M Sport (as well as M Sport being a trim level on most other years/models), so not quite sure why an M sport badge would be 'misbadging'
Even if they did, i don't think they would have had 4 //M badges on them though It was just a basic 318 with some rather dodgy mods attempting to go for the "look at my M3" look - especially the 4 x 5" exhaust tips - not sure I remember an M3 looking like that Edited by AlexRS2782 on Wednesday 19th November 21:14

No they didn't, by the time the Sport trim level was renamed M Sport the E46 saloon was out of production so the only M Sport E46's are Coupe's and Cabriolets.
So essentially, you're saying:"You are correct, they did make plenty of M Sport E46's, just not in 4-door saloons"

Have seen 3 of the now common Chrysler Bentley 300C recently but today the 2 I saw together were
stretched Funeral transport.
The Hearse had a "client" in the back and was followed by the [empty] car for the family.
In Epsom BTW.
I couldn't possibly make my final journey in a mis badged car.

My final trip will be in an AMG. A genuine one, hopefully mapped to at least 700bhp. It's taking me a while to find the funeral director, though I may leave it to others and stipulate it in my will. Not my problem then, though if it's not adhered to I'll be back to complain... Oh, hang on
