In actual fact the Cayman S (at launch) in the hands of the renouned Walter Rohrl lapped the 'Ring quicker than the "common as muck" base 911... That's testament enough for me... I'd rather spend the savings on more fuel...

Hmmm... I'm selling my Cayman S to buy a convertible 370z Nismo .... I also own a 350z GT 313 convertible... More toys for less & it laps Brands Indy in virtually the same time! ... I agree the Nissan (Datsun!!!) hasn't got the image quality & is a little bit less "refined" but it's still a stonking hoot to drive fast & just loves drifting!!
