Great news Paul, well done.
Once of those cars that if you described it to a non petrol head would sound totally normal, but those in the know.......know.
You are so right, I showed the wife a pic of the other one at the PH show, and she was all like "It's a skanky old estate" - then I told her about it in detail and when I came back from the PH show tonight, showed her the pics I took of it, she instantly smiled and proclaimed "Ohh that's that mental car isn't it, I love it!"Once of those cars that if you described it to a non petrol head would sound totally normal, but those in the know.......know.
Seeing those two Audis made the show for me, along with a few other things of course

that's it. I didn't pay the sticker price, but before anyone says- I do realise it's at the top end of the price scale.
I love it though, and it's a great example
Doesn't matter.... it's one of the few RHD's...lovely car, if I had a less junk filled garage then it would be one on my shortlist along with the belowI love it though, and it's a great example

Very low mileage for that age and it seems that it hasn't been mapped as usual Congrats!
PS if you decide to go for the ECU upgrade, don't get greedy about HP and get simple MTM stage 1 (340ps) - not a huge power growth, but fantastic torque and almost no lag and fuel consuption increase. Other software, like mtm stage 2 (375ps) are more for show off, as it has poor spread of torque. I know what i'm talking about because i had one of those, and had tried a number of modifications. This was the last
It has one problem in terms of driving pleasure - stock shocks are too soft even for the B roads. On the racetrack it's suspension just frightening. I got KW Variant 2 for mine, because there are no other reasonable choices.

& maybe the Brake Upgrade kit from Porsche, or use upgraded Pagid pads. This beast is heavy and brake fade inevitable.
I'd say that for stock or almost stock engine Ferodo DS2500 pads is good enough. The car already has Porsche brakes from factory. Big reds from 993T will not give much performance. As for the weight, it's indeed too fat. I measured it exactly 1700 kgs on Longacre car scales.

The brakes came from the Porsche 968CS, a car that weighed about 1430 kgs..As for the weight, it's indeed too fat. I measured it exactly 1700 kgs on Longacre car scales.
