All those incredible interiors out there over the decades and people post up dull uninspired grey audi-BMW present day interiors. The mind boggles it really does.

Yes they are well made but my god are they boring to look at.

but its not really even in the top 100 is it ? or even top 500 ?
According to who?
you don't need to have been around that long and you don't need to have lived that much or even applied much thought to it to just KNOW that I am right

by thend end of this thread for example, its pretty damm obvious that there will be at least 100 interiors that will totally shame a 535d interior or whatever other audi grey dullard crap it is that people are posting

I like the McLaren F1 and it's interior a lot but I personally don't care for the colour scheme used in this particular car. Am I correct in thinking this car has been retrimmed since production? How did a radio find its way in there too?!

I remember reading that Mclaren approached all the main car radio makers asking them to develop the lightest possible head unit ever made - only Kenwood were interested.

from wiki

During its pre-production stage, McLaren commissioned Kenwood to create a lightweight car audio system for the car; Kenwood, between 1992 and 1998 used the F1 to promote its products in print advertisements and brochure covers.

Yes but that Kenwood system is a CD player only and I think is mounted to the right of the driver. The radio in that car has been fitted since the car was made. Pretty sure!

Too many modern cars are too fussy and cluttered. I think the Cerbera has it pretty much nailed - everything is sited for the driver.

But that's a very fussy and very cluttered steering wheel!
What about the loose carpet and worn trim. Come on we all love our own cars but how does that compare to a Zonda.
Very well I'd say lick. The Zonda I have a love/hate relationship with - sure it does ooze passion and pride of workmanship, but it's way way way too busy and over the top, there must be a thousand different materials, textures and colours all in that tiny space.

The Cerbera manages to be swoopy, sinister, space age, leftfield and well resolved, intimate and businesslike at the same time. One of the greats of all time and to me Nick Coughlan will always be a hero for creating it. thumbup

Of course that doesn't really excuse some of the trim colour combinations owners specified...

Agreed, there are some interesting shapes and touches in later TVR interiors but the poor quality makes me discount them as beautiful. Love the lovely bespoke alloy parts though.....
