I'll pass.
Seeing them everyday, and seeing the people who aspire to own them here, makes you a bit wary of the brand connotations.
Please, take as many away from here as possible. As soon as a Chav (bogan) makes good they buy one of these.
A 'Chav' is not a 'Bogan'. Seeing them everyday, and seeing the people who aspire to own them here, makes you a bit wary of the brand connotations.

The two are so unrelated it's just not even fair to either (not that I care overly for their respective feelings, mind...) to use both titles in the same thread!
Fast estates are always good fun for surprising people, this looks like the ultimate
Great write up too, can see you enjoyed yourself, although I don't agree with
"oil pressure and oil temperature shouldn’t routinely concern the driver of a grown-up car"
If I'm driving any car hard, it's always nice to have an eye on two of the most important things crucial to keeping the lump alive, assuming the temp gauge also reacts with any sort of speed (not likely seeing as it's a 'family' car).

I agree. Often, by the time the red comes on, you're in trouble - gauges give you the heads up in advance. "oil pressure and oil temperature shouldn’t routinely concern the driver of a grown-up car"

I ski'd on Mt Buller in 1988,That road was amazing in an old 52 seat coach.Sat near the back I remember thinking George the coach drivers favourite film was The italian Job......on ice !
And if you think that road is an endless switchback, try The Gillies above Cairns in Oz,360 corners in 20 miles up the side of a mountain with drop offs and no armco ! I had a Falcon XR6 turbo then but great fun on either a bike or car.
