Not too sure about the LED running lights though.
What are the odds they'll be at face height of normally proportioned vehicles and will be turned on all the time?

That really won't be annoying at all rolleyes

This doesn't bode well.

Manufacturers typically stagger their model updates so that when the full overhawl or replacement is due, they stagger the investment, tooling, design and infrastructure changes.

I sincerly hope that Land Rover does not end up like Rover/MG by facelifting the same 3 models to death for the next decade like with the rover 200, 400 and 75
Haven't Porcshe been doing it for years. They're still selling by the bucket load yet from the front you can barely tell one model from the next (except that awful 4x4 experiment).

Why are they testing an off road 4x4 at the 'ring'? confused
Surely it should be tested across a ploughed field with a horse box attached.
You really think it is designed to go offroad confused

Is the UK getting the non-supercharged petrol?

The old one did surprisingly well on top gear getting chased by a tank.

The new 3.0 litre TDV6 sounds like a belter. I drove a 2.7 litre TDV6 RR Sport and it was a wheezy diesel swilling gas bag of an engine. I know its a big heavy car, but the 2.7 is pretty underpowered and not very economical with it. Other than that I loved the Sport, so hopefully this new engine will make it right and may be cheaper than the bigger TDV8 option...the Supercharged Sport is going to be a bit of a beast to! Definite improvement all round IMHO.

Exteriors are very dissapointing, a very mild facelift at the most, basically new lights and grilles.....very Max Power! Having said that they all still look great. Interiors are a great improvement....especially in the D3.

No dash is complete without a side on view of the vehicle you are sitting in

I think so, yes... Have had a look on a few other news sites and that seems to be the general view... (Jaguar offer it in the XK/XF, so I guess LR can too...)

I'm actually quite glad to see the facelift is not too different from my current 08 RR. I was expecting an all new RR fairly soon - anyone know when this is?

Agree with the anti-bling comments - I prefer my RR looking like it was made for the farm rather than Kings Road.

Very nice! Some tasteful revisions there (apart from the dodgy Khan look wheels!)

I wonder when these new marques will take effect on previous Range Rover Values....

Saw one of the Discoveries about a month ago in Exeter (unless they'd modified their own lights?). I can confirm they look absolute st in real life. Rest of the car looked okay, just the rear lights looked crap.

Always loved the Range Rovers, going back to the 4.2 LSE models!

They have a bit of old skool British Gangster appeal about them.

The new Range's are so oppulent and refined.

Don't like the RR Sport - see too many fat, old men driving them and they are two-a-penny.

Interiors are gorgeous in the Range Rover.

The only thing impressive about the RR Sport is the BHP and the 0-60 time....

Although the BMW's X5M and X6M will rip it to shreds!

This is probably just me but... I like the Sport, as it seems a more sensible size. The Range rover seems unnessecarily tall next to it.

Agreed - not really more buttons than on the Freelander 2 or my MPS. It's just the layout that makes it look like a lot. With the vehicles I mention there, the buttons are rocker switches with options top and bottom, so are much smaller. There they are just all individual buttons made as HOODGE as possible...which surely is not a bad thing if it makes things easier to press without taking your eyes off the road.

They're on the rear, but none on the front. Anyone know which mythical market doesn't need front number
