Danish Super Model Hits The Runway
1100bhp Zenvo ST1 prototype on track, on video
Would-be Danish supercar builder Zenvo has released video footage of its ST1 prototype in action on an airfield runway.
Last time we heard from Zenvo was December '08, when the firm released what looked like a set of computer renderings of its strikingly styled new machine.
This new video suggest Zenvo is living up to its promise to launch the ST1 this year. As you’ll hear on the video, a launch is being planned for the car at Le Mans this summer – we presume that means at the classic 24hr race, but we’re not 100 percent sure.
Meanwhile, the video offers a tantalising insight into the new car, which has been developed with a 7.0-litre V8 that’s been supercharged and turbocharged to a useful 1100bhp.
More images and information can be found on the Zenvo Automotive website here.

I really like the interior.
It's directly from a 911 isn't it!?RB Will said:
Isn't 217mph a little slow for 1100bhp?
Are you being sarcastic? Im guessing you must be, because I would imagine you already realise that power has nothing to do with top speed, it's (mostly, but with many many other considerations) to do with gearing & aerodynamics.
Frankly, im not suppressed that the Danes made a good looking sports car. Any country that can turn something that spends it’s life rolling in sh*t into a tasty morsel to plonk in my Sunday morning pre-hoon sarnie, should as a matter of course be able to produce a great looking motor vehicle.

From what he was saying, he wasn't actually "selling" it very well, it has to be said.
Agreed. "Drives like a hatchback and does not have perfect handling." I realise it could still be a great car, but come on, sell it to us man!I really do like that alot. Has alot of angles that remind me of Lamborghini, including the steering wheel, which looks like one from a Diablo, but really nicely designed and i actually think it looks quite menacing in that primer colour as well. No need for metallics, get some matt paint on there, would look brilliant.
