Yeh man...top speed 250 mph. 1200HP 0 to 60 in 2 seconds about. Not great for normal tracks but test track etc and rally not bad. I used to hang back and toy with the a.i the car was a monster. It would eat a supra of the same power.

The 400 metre sprint is crazy man. o-400m in 7.53s

What is most impressive to me is the variety of cars here and that they are not all supercars.

My current list seems to all be 4 door 'supercars':

E60 M5
RS4
Merc E63
M3

I've been watching too many episodes of 'Overhaulin' and 'Wrecks to Riches' on Discovery Turbo lately and find myself yearning to take on a project like this....

Interesting! Front resembles a Z8, follow the lines rearward, ah no, Spitfeur!
Like the wheels too. Do you know what might be under the bonnet?

Got told yesterday that we have to cut our mileages and use hire cars for longer journeys. Whilst not good news, I view it as an opportunity to get a more focused car which will do a lower mileage and doesn't have to be so good on the motorways. Still need 4 seats though;

968 Sport (not clubsport though, need those back seats and a few comforts)

RX-7. Can't really justify the mpg or perceived fragility (certainly couldn't stomach spending proper money to get a good unmodified example and then have to fork out for a rebuild on top)

Alfa 159. As stated previously, with the right wheels and in black these look stunning - amazing for such a modern car.

There are many, many others, but I'm trying to keep my sensible head on just now....

It's a modified Triumph Spitfire Mk2 with a Honda S2000 engine and gearbox. Classic lines with modern power. lick

On the bonnet and ride height I agree, but then I merely posted the picture as an example. The idea of installing a modern drivetrain and running gear on a Spitfire really appeals to me.

And I agree with you there, i.e. Zetec in a Lotus Elan+2, V-Tec in a Mini, Corvette in a TVR! wink

Because I have written a letter of complaint to BMW in hope of getting a refund or a favourable p/x on my lemon of a E60 M5 I was obsessing over the following:

911 2S (997)
M6
RS4 Cab

TVR Chimeras. A couple in particular. But sensible head is saying "don't do it this year, you might not have a job in 6 months and then how are you going to afford to run it".
So perhaps next year. We will see how the next trip offshore goes...

I'm obsessing about these again and have been for some time - I'm thinking by the end of the year for ownership.
