Trust me, 1.6-litres is more than enough to make things interesting in a Caterham. Even at 140-odd bhp they're seriously rapid (and can be seriously sideways).
To put things into perspective, a 1.6-litre Roadsport A has almost exactly the same power-to-weight ratio as a 620 bhp Bentley Continental Supersports. And the Bentley still wouldn't see which way the Caterham went on a twisty B-road.
On a rather different note, I have to say I'm pondering one of these at the moment:
It seems about £3k is the going rate for a mk1. Not bad for a Mk5 Golf GTi with added 'scaring the bejesus out of speeding motorists' effect.

I'm with this, except it's been since it came out I've been obsessing! Not in orange though, in grey with black wheels. I'm usually one for bright colours, but not on the MP4-12C for some reason.
I think it looks absolutely stunning from this angle:

Not sure why seeing as I don't really like the fast Japanese stuff. But these are awesome, VTEC, LSD, bucket seats and that massive spoiler all in an otherwise boring old family saloon. Looks fantastic, I want one, cheeky little insurance quote turned out to be a surprise too.
