Sad news.

Admired the guys vision of what a sports car should be and his determination to produce them that way - thank you peter wheeler for all those cars.

64 is way too young. RIP Peter Wheeler.

Met PW at the factory and at a number of race meetings, perfect gentleman and definitely a man I would buy a car from...and did. Thank you Peter for my Griffith 500, it has been a joy! RIP and condolences to the family.

After I heard the sad news yesterday I got in my Tuscan S and went for a drive - not to go anywhere but just for the sheer joy of drving - Suddenly remembered why I bought my Tuscan and why I love Tvr`s so much - Thanks Peter for making such amazing cars and sharing them with us!

That is very sad news. I was fortunate enough to have a personal guide round every area of the TVR site in Blackpool in the '90s and it was very impressive to see what Peter Wheeler had built up.

RIP Peter. Respects to his family and friends. cry

A real loss to the motoring community and a very sad day for all of us. Regardless of what happened after TVR was sold, PW brought us some amazing cars. RIP.

Very sad news

Wishes to all the family and friends.

I tried for 10 years to sell peter proper composite parts for TVR's and never really got any where. Brought a Tuscan and then he sold me a service and a new engine within weeks of owning it for £8500.00.

Always the business man who stuck two fingers up to the norm....

He will be missed.

GAM.

Sad news, my best wishes to his family.

Peter was a big personality with the bottle to put himself forward and do what he believed.

He defined for me the essence of the British sportscar when I was at an impressionable age. He left an indellible mark on my character. Will anyone be able to do that again?
RIP
