What’s the point of a hybrid sports car? Electric cars are an innovative and amazing technology- they are safe, efficient, and clean- and they should stop being made into a punch line. Instead of making over-the-top expensive hybrids, auto companies should be developing affordable 100% electric vehicles. Electric cars have an amazing history, and amazing advantages over combustion engines. To learn more about them, check out http://www.twocentspermile.com and http://bit.ly/2centspermile

I must say, while I'm usually the first to say FWD isn't rubbish like some people make out,
With all due respect, FWD IS rubbish. I've never had anywhere near as much fun in anything FWD I've driven compared to my RWD babies.Ultimately though, the best RWD is far more fun than the best FWD or 4WD. My old westfield was about as fun as fun gets, I don't think anything FWD or 4WD will come even remotely close.

Another hybrid?
Why do manufacturers continue to waste time & resouces on a technology that is already dead?
The technology is out there TODAY to allow you to run a big thumping V8 on nothing but plain old water.
The whole world can enjoy 3x more efficient 'water' economy with zero emissions (other than water!), whilst still enjoying the power, torque and noise of a V8 engine... Whilst totally satisfying the greenies.
There's no need to have 'souless' electric motors to power a vehicle.

And what might that be then? Why do manufacturers continue to waste time & resouces on a technology that is already dead?
