I've heard the same story re. chen shin. Their race kart tyres were always Ok as well - although certainly a step down from the bridgestones i ran in the catagory I was in before chaning to the Maxxis one. Mind, anything would be a step doen from juoior 100B, that catagory was immence =)

They're certainly not bad for the money, though I'd still pay a bit more for the Falkens next time. They were on the front to begin with, but since then I've swapped them around with the Falkens and now the car seems a fair bit more pointy than with the Maxxis. With the Maxxis on the back end I get a bit more wheel spin in the wet, and maybe a tiny bit more in the dry. Not had any problems with aquaplaning or braking issues in the wet. They're wearing much slower than the Falkens as the compound is a little harder. As before when I was using Dunlops and Goodyears, the back end almost never seems to loose traction on a country road hoon.
