Another fairly rare one - a Corrado Magnum Kombi.. ruins the lines of the Corrado quite badly but nevermind!

I knew about these cars but didn't know the history - dug this up on a forum though:

"These 2 VW Prototypes were both built by Marold Automobil GmbH for VW so that VW could determine if they were going to put them into production. VW ultimately decided against producing them and Marold tried selling the 2 cars and all technical data for 3.2 Million DM's. Since then the cars have been in storage at Marold."

Lancia Beta HPE definitely was a favourite of mine. Had a VX (supercharged) one for a few years as a daily driver. Could chuck all your stuff in it, take it on track days, and tow with it (even good for jacknifing badly loaded car & trailer on the M1 on a Friday rush hour...)

All these cars look like they have been badly converted in order to convey a wheelchair.

Is that a model car, in a model garage?

Look at the 'glass' at the rear, it looks like model car plastic windows. The rear lights are odd too and the garage looks too perfect and clean.

It just seems unlikely given the subject!

Where does the term 'Shooting Brake' come from? I've seen the 456 based estate called that as well.
I won't do that silly "let me Google that for you" thing but needless to say this was top of the list when I Wiki'd Sooting brake wink
Is that the diesel version?

Oh, and it's been asked/used quite a few times, but what the hell is a "shooting brake"???? No need to explain what a shooting break is on the other hand tongue outtongue outtongue out

I saw one of these once dribving down regent street, many moons ago.

along the same stretch is where i saw an estate Jaguar XJS, there was a coachbuilder in the uk who done these estate conversions, think theres also some ferrari F355's that were done and now owned by a dubai businessman
