No no no no no no. Awful. The only reason this pic looks moderately good is because the angle and reflections on the car disguise the hideous shoulders that run down the length of the car and don't fit with the design at all. NO!
I think it's funny when people make statements like this. If you don't like it fine but, 'don't fit with the design at all'? Tell me, exactly when did you last speak with the designers, (you know the conversation you had where they told you exactly what they were trying to achieve)?grahamw48 said:

Did they actually go into manufacture (the speed 12's?)
IIRC they made a couple but never for public sale. The story goes that Peter Wheeler thought it was too manic to use on the road. In the end one of the prototypes was finished and sold of to an enthusiast who was personally vetted by Wheeler. It is a shame that the new SLS is heavy. Imagine what it would be like if they put it on a diet.
I believe they did, as the Delorean I had was sitting beside one at the Gran Turismo 4 launch night up London.
But as I mentioned before the M1 Beemer was at my wifes work (great to have a wife thats a Petrolhead to!!!)
Feel free to use these pics.
I met this guy too, had to have a pic of him next to my car

Aw - how about giving the "hard bitten" motor trade a break? We've all got to make a living.....
If Ms Pedal-Rubbers is tucked up by a garage, then she's probably also tucked up by builders, plumbers and all other trades-of-the-devil; if she's got more money than sense, it's probably come to her from someone else anyway.
I always use a franchised dealer to do any work I don't want to undertake myself -ie special tools and nasty, awkward stuff. My advice is to get a "menu price" at the outset, ask how and what the work entails (even better if you already know).
Yes, they'll try it on. But isn't that the case with all trades / professions?
