It is 7 things - its how Zara works as well!
How similar are certain makes to the fiesta or the new vauxhall to the scirocco!
everyone copies everyone else
Also everyone harping on at him to make his own design - someone has PAID him to make this.
He probably does make his own stuff too.

monsoon got royally fked on cos they copied the chloe bag and didnt change enough.
none of us have seen the moulds up close but im pretty positive unless he has stolen the pagani CAD or has a cinque and a laser 3d scanner there is no way he will get it perfect.
he is fine, nothing pagani can do..
I cant wait to see the finished car, you have some serious CAD skills.
Caterham springs to mind. They bought the production rights to the 7 from Lotus and so were allowed to continue producing the car. Westfield on th eother hand, decided to make their own copy. Caterham decided it was too similar, hence the 'pre-litigation' Westfields you see for sale.

I like Envy's work.
Have you seen his recreated F40 with 355 power - nice from the photo's I've seen.
I'm no lawyer so cannot comment on the legal aspect of replicating a current production car but I'd keep my head down :-)
Are these replicas;
If so, and I know one PH'er who has one, I'd like one in the Christmas stocking please.

well, i go away for a few day, and a st load of replies. but all i have to say is that after reading your comments, you guys are a bhy group of girls (most of you) I'm just showing a project that I'm working on and in no way mass marketing this thing (hence one off)
I was going to post up another concept build, but you guys will bicker about that like its your religion, and no its not a copy of any car out there.
I'd like to see the concept, and I'm sure quite a few others would too. Not all on this thread share the same views.I was going to post up another concept build, but you guys will bicker about that like its your religion, and no its not a copy of any car out there.
I'm personally not a massive fan of some replicas, but I get them.
If I have the equipment you did though, I would certainly want to make my own design. Then surely you could market it and make a hell of a lot of money from it?
If you start a new thread up about your work please PM me as I've enjoyed seeing the pics of your work.
Personally, provided you have kept within the letter of the law, if perhaps not the spirit in some people's minds, I would like to see how this pans out through the build and to delivery. It is not the sort of thing i would buy but it seems that there are some who believe that you have the potential to make a very good car out of this.

I'm not building a replica, I just carved the foam for someone, its done and out the door on to its new home.
I am sorry.I must have misread your first post. Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared now, but as luck would have it someone quoted it.

If you are still looking for a zonda replica I have one in the works, the body will be done in two weeks. It is of the zonda cinque coupe, convertible version later on. The donor car is a mercedes s600, only using the v12 out of that and other componets. It's a full tube chasis kit, no hack and slash fiero.
Oh, maybe I didn't.BTW not being bhy, many on here just don't appreciate being mislead.
