Point taken, the wound is still quite fresh. There are many many decent cyclists, just in London lots of them seem to think traffic lights dont apply to them.
Agreed. I can see the appeal at empty pedestrian crossings, but I never do it, because I don't think it sets a good example. My philosophy is that if I keep my nose clean and show some consideration to other road users they can't really complain if I indulge in some safe careful filtering and the like occasionally. It works both ways... Even now I ride in most days I still sometimes find myself changing lanes in the car without specifically looking over my shoulder for bikes. I usually do, and I always keep a good eye on the mirros, but all it takes is one time and you could end up with a lot on your conscience. In that respect I probably make a safer cyclist than a driver, but I suspect that's not unusual.

I can't see anyone being "dissed".
I do fantasise about killing cyclists.
Especially the ones that swerve to avoid puddles causing me to slam all on.
Sorry, but the 'moderators' on Sheffield Forum have pruned the thread in a rather agressive manner, removing comments by a user caled spindrift, who in essence was making generalisations re PH'ers all being speeding cyclist killers.I do fantasise about killing cyclists.

Can't fault him for his stance and the lawsuit being brought against him seems, to me, to be done deliberately to make it impossible to fight it.
That's what I thought. An awkward bugger he is, but in this case the lengths his adversaries go to silence him are faintly ridiculous IMO. This can't be good for what's left of 'free speech'.HRG. said:
