I was given a lift to my wedding in one by a very kind PHer! And I have to say it's a bloomin' stunning piece of kit! smile

Is it just me or is there a passing resemblance to the MkIV Supra in that side profile? The same similarity folk were saying makes the new Lexus look cheap... wink

Can anyone from PH who drove the car/planned the trip tell me if the forward pointing shot with the river to the right in the article, plus the stationary shot with hills behind were taken on the road between Moffat and Broughton in the Scottish Borders (A701).
I do believe I recognise it, if so What a road!!(The Scottish Borders Nordschleife!!)
What wheels to take for a spank on it it fun in a M Coupe never mind a 599!!!

Pardon? Surely the best car money can buy would be one with a much wider repertoire than this monstrosity? I wouldn't actually say an M5 as I don't really like them but something akin to one. I'd have an S65/63.
(You know a car that can seat the family in comfort, safety and luxury, have a good boot and still frighten sports cars).

Interior looks a bit disappointing for £200K.

Hmm - I think I agree with your point, but not necessarily how you said it (I certainly wouldn't call the 599 a 'monstrosity').

But the best car you can buy would indeed be a very fast, more affordable four seater - I wonder what though. Can any of 'yu' think of such a car?

wink

In bright yellow it looks pretty awful, but... every couple of months or so I see a grey 599 in Marlow and it looks the business. It wears swiss plates too which gives it a really exotic feel - must be great to drive a 599 all the way from Switzerland to the UK, what the car is made for I guess

You've obviously never lived in Switzerland. Arse-end of the world (says the man temporarily relocated to Geneva)...

Not sure if the Italians feel the same but for me writing 'Handling GTE' on the seats just looks tacky.

I think I could probably live with it though biggrin

Impressive, undoubtedly. But it's not beautiful, like the 458 Italia.

The 599 HGTE's predecessor, the 575M HGTC still ranks very highly on my wish list. cloud9

In black I think the 599 is one of the best looking cars ever made, certainly the nicest Ferrari make.

Love the rear 3/4 however I can't find a decent pic at the moment.
