I could do with the M5 cabrio to go with my E30 M3 pick up in my fantasy garage.

I think that interior must be worth a few bob, as its 'Bubble' leather, which is impossible to repair, and like hens teeth to get hold of nowadays!

Nice car though, do like the M5 touring too.

Wow!

That is stunning!

Isn't the E34 such a handsome looking bit of kit? Even at over 20 years old, it looks sublime.

Would have the Cabrio for the weekend, and my M5 for the everyday motor!

Love it.

And, the E60 M5 CSL Concept is a beast of a car! Shame that BMW have resorted to turbocharged power for the next-generation M5 (same engine as the X6 M and X5 M models, I think?). I think their naturally aspirated engines have a lot of character, and still keep up with the turbocharged / supercharged competition from the like of Audi, Jaguar and Mercedes.

They dont think like that now. BMW try to release as much models as possible to milk the market.

That's a gorgeous car, is a tad pointless, IMO (considering there was an M3 Cabrio).
Why it took all the time, from conception to only a week before the reveal, for the big wigs to realise it might steal sale from the 3-Series is rather confusing!

I like the E39 M5 Touring - now that's a car they should have put in to production!

I know there is the M6, but it would be cool if there was an M5 convertible. They could have been developing one of those instead of that absolutely daft 5 GT.

Ah yes , I had the 4 door saloon M5, have many happy memorys of that car, mainly involving Women!

It did tend to have the tendancy to light up the rear tyres at 60mph now and then!!!

I think audi used to make 4 door A6/100 cabrios for china some years back.

Not really a fan of soft tops unless theyre actually standalone models (ie mx5s, z4s) myself, they just dont look right imo.
