Indeed it is! biggrin Battery retail park in selly oak, pizza place is now a frankie and bennys (who seem to have the occasional massive American car parked outside).

You've said before in you lived in Birmingham, where abouts was it?

See, I don't really see anything wrong with the parking in that photo...but that's just me.

The car on the other hand...well - doesn't that open up a can of worms!!

I agree - nothing wrong with that im my view. I have done and do the same effectively.

At Westfield, you can often find an end of line space which you can safely hang over or out of to give both you and your 'neighbour' plenty of space.

I can't tell the road layout, but isn't that done to improve visibility?

Ok for the Porsche, not so cool if the Shogun did it.

But by far the best space I have found is this one:

APCOA, Eyre Street, Sheffield?

Isn't the light grey the effective line between the 2 darker marked out spaces? If so, it looks like the tosser next to the 911 is well into / over that lighter line, forcing the 911 to park further over itself.

Nothing wrong with the 911 imo.

Not a great pic but it should be fairly clear that he's not only parked on zig-zags at a crossing - he's actually parked over the bit people are supposed to walk over to USE the crossing.

I was standing fairly goggled-eyed as he drove onto the pavement to park and got out - and then along came a Police car, which I kindly flagged-down...

"Isn't that just taking the piss more than a bit" I suggested to the officer...

"Yeah - you're not kidding really - that's 3 points and £65 for parking on zigzags - I'll sort it"

I went into the bank, when I came out the driver was driving around the corner with the Police car following him. When I got around the corner, he's getting a lecture.

Meanwhile - another car had parked in the same spot...

It's a money spigot - let's just park a traffic warden there and solve the national debt!!
