Ive parked in two spaces, most of the kiddie bays are taken by people without kids so what to do, id hate to dent someones p&j getting my lad out of his seat.
Id rather pay a £30 parking ticket then have a £300 bill after some cock opens their door into mine or worse drive into it.
Also why do people go to supermarkets put there shopping into there cars then just leave there fking trolleys to roll around the carpark,s.

In fairness it is straight and between the lines.
They probably thought it was a space for short cars as that's why they've put the dashed lines there. FFS

hehe
Why is there a snowman in the back?

It doesn't belong to the bird using the cashpoint either, I was there for a good 10 minutes and saw no sign of the owner.
I wish I had been entitled to park in the disabled bay to the left of it, blocking them in nicely. Alas no-one did that whilst I was there.

Looking at that photo it would appear that providing both you and the approaching drivers know the width of your vehicles you shouldn't have to stop.

Here's another one.

I think the owner must have owned a Dodge Ram or perhaps a Euromaster before this Saab.

You seem to be suggesting that he should park his van on the kerb. I'm sure any pedestrians walking past would very much enjoy having to wander into the busy road to get past his van.

People on my road have been asking for years to get cars to park on the road rather than on the pavement, who cares if you (shock horror) have to stop to wait for a gap to get past.
I'm saying he should park it 'half-way' up the curb, so cars can get past and pedests can walk past.

His van could fit on the drive too, it's just my Paint skills (or lack of).

So you disturb all his neighbours because he parks like an idiot?

Nice.
Correct.

My logic is that they will get pissed off with him to and start having a go at him.
LMFAO I like your logic! smile

I don't have a picture unfortunately, but about a year ago I went to my local Morrisons to pick up some stuff and as I was walking to the shop from my car I saw a guy in an Aston Martin DB9 pull up and park in 4 spaces at once, like this:

Fair enough, you've got a nice car but there's no need to take the piss.

Should have parked next to the drivers door with about a 25mm gap. Oh and let me guess, Morrisons and an Aston, obviously on benifits then laugh

Give him a break, his driveway and house are tiny! wink

Every other morning the end of my street is half blocked by a co-op truck unloading, very unnerving as you're turning onto a busy road and you can see absolutely nothing!
I understand what your both saying but really the driver is fked either way.

If he parks on the pavement the army of mums with push chairs etc will complain because they have to walk on or near the road. On the other side of the coin if he parks on the road he causes traffic issues.

But being Piston Heads, most of us would have at worst parked it half on and half off the pavement and road, it's the only logical solution!

Last year I had ecurie25's Gallardo Spyder for a bit.

Thursday afternoon, after a good old hoon in the sun, i popped to Sainsburys for some pie action, which has a fooking huge car park, which was pretty much empty except for the bit close to the doors.

So i park the Lambo at the far end of the car park, slap bag in the middle of a space, perfectly lined up it was, i was very proud.

No cars for a good 30m in each direction.

Pop in, buy pie, Kettle chips & Snickers (healthy hooning food).

Come out to find some c**t in a chavved up Escort has parked in the space to the right.

Now fair enough he was straight and in the lines, and so was I, but why the f**k couldn't he just have parked a space away?

Fecking knuckle dragger...

Because he took a photo with his phone, then posted it on badboykroozers.com as "look at me and my mate out for a hoon innit!"

This.

Some fking useless left a trolley about, as I was walking to the store I saw it had started rolling towards a beautiful Maserati, this I sprinted after it and managed to dive and stop it.

People must have thought I was nuts hehe

Bit of a grey area
I know some people will fling open their doors into other cars in carparks but its still a major pain in the arse in a busy car park when you see people parking like this.
I tend to just park at the quiet end away from the other cars.
I can at least undersatnd if not condone doing that if you own a supercar. But some old repmobile? does anyone really worship the mighty 318i so much?
I suppose your right, the owner might love the car, but he should treat it like a piece of st because it didn't cost 200K.
Just be thankful he or she didn't park in a parent & child space or hoardes of 'I must have special treatment' parents would be bearing down on them with pitchforks and flaming torches. . . . . wink
Ah, that's not a problem. I sometimes take my 81 year old mum to the supermarket and park in the parent and child space.

I haven't seen an age restriction anywhere..... tongue out
