Well, I think they're all legends and I just don't know who I'll be backing this year! Schuey, Hami, Button and Vettel...I think they're all great and all going to be going at this season fighting!

F1 may finally redeem itself this year and give us some proper wheel to wheel racing, and with the 'one tank' fueling rule (which I don't really agree with but meh!) winning races on strategy will be out the window and getting the job done the old fashioned way will be the only option!!

Should be amazing; come on Schumi!

He has more wins than the rest of the grid put together, not bad for an old 'un!

I must be the only one that isnt bothered by this overhyped story then, although it will make me chuckle to see him beaten
You care so little that you read it, you commented on it and you state that you will take some pleasure from it. Sounds to me like you are very bothered by it.

Can't wait, whatever you think of him, IMO only a fool would bet against Schuey in a Merc with RB on the pit wall.

Roll on 2010!

Schuey - not driven for 3 years and older than the other competitors.
Merc/Brawn Car - great in 09, but not as dominant at the end of the season. Rest are up to speed.
RB on the wall - - no refuelling takes away fueling & tyres strategy decisions.

There will be plenty who will bet against that combination, past performance is no guarantee for future returns wink

2010 should be a brilliant season. All we need now is for Bernie to be savaged to death by a pack of wild wolves pre season.

And one of the reasons for that end of year drop was that they were working (possibly too much Ross said) on the 2010 car...

Whereas Red Bull were throwing all of their efforts on the 2009 car right up to Brazil.

To assume that 2010 = end of 2009 is a bit shortsighted IMO.

bring it on, next season is going to be a belter. Much as I love seeing UK drivers win championships I thing Schuey is in a different league and will show them the way home.

This news explains all the cameras that were hanging around outside Brawn this morning.

See all the fanboys have flown in en masse. Don't forget he hasn't won since 2004, then got beaten by Alonso 2 years running. In the years he did win Ferrari spent far more than any other team, today its more of a level playing field financially. Will he really beat FA,FM,LH,JB,SV??? It will probably end in tears mid season with some good excuses.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. Would I be correct in saying those English Losers have won the championship 2 years in a row?

McLaren all british team? with the GERMAN engine?
Mercedes all German team? with what i beleive is a BRITISH engineered chassis? Driver line up only from what i can see. Apart from Ferrari aren't all F1 cars designed and built in blighty?

Personally i don't think Jenson is good enough to mix it with the likes of Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso, Massa and Michael. Although i look forward to being proven wrong. I'd love Rosberg to come to the fore as well, really mix it with the array of world champions on display.

I think someone has already posted on it, but in Schumacher's final two seasons of F1 he lost to Alonso. Alonso, the double world champion who struggled against Hamilton on his debut season in the same car... Jenson, who was outclassed by Barichello during the second half of last season on several occasions. Who was Barichello always second best to? ah yes, i think his name was Michael Schumacher. IMO, best drivers on the grid are; Hamilton, who is probably the best with Raikonnen making way, Vettel, who's pace amazed Mark Webber constantly, Alonso, Mr consistant, and Schumacher, who is taking a HUGE gamble with his reputation...

I'm looking forward to it though, should be interesting whatever happens. Although hopefully more interesting than last season.
