So, 41yr-old Scumsucker back in F1. Whoopeee. Great day for young talent in F1 isn't it.

I suppose the only saving grace is that there will be 26 cars on the grid next season, possibly 28 if Stefan GP can get the rules tweaked to let them in.

In some ways I hope he get's his ass whipped by the existing boys, and the new talent.

How will he cope with having to overtake on the track though? He's never really had to do it, relying mostly on passing through cunning pitstop strategies thanks to the PitStopmeister Mr Brawn. All of that goes out of the window now.
Wow, and theres the rest of the world thinking that MS' success had something to do with being amazingly talented rather than 'lucking' into his success.

Silly us eh?

Anyone who watched Schumacher's last race at Brazil in 2006 will recognise he was retiring too early. In his recent karting performances he's out performed the current younger F1 crop, I think he'll be back to winning ways very quickly. The Mercedes like the Brawn last year is supposed to have an advantage in terms of development over the rest of the field as they stopped developing last years car far earlier in the season and choosing instead to work on this years car. Also there's quite a significant difference between Schumacher and Button. Button's proved he can win only if he has the best car which is absolutely to his liking. Schumacher on the other hand has a track record of winning in underperforming cars. That said he has an uncanny way of making his machinery the best in the paddock. He's a contender, I think only Hamilton and Alonso can challenge him in terms of talent. It's going to be a great year.
