I really have no idea why that is considered 'art'. And 40k is the usual totally random piss take that usually accompanies dreary pieces of shallow sculpture in order to enhance the piece with some mystic quality.
It might pass as a piece of kinetic art, put then the 'fabricator' would be taking the piss out of himself. Given it's a static piece of something mobile (!)
And failed architects -as this chump is- aren't likely to be able to do that.

Correct.

In a moment of pissed bravado I tried to 'sit' in the drivers seat. Looked like a kid on a climbing frame. Promptly escorted out by the most undercover of undercover bouncers.

Good times.

I like this a lot. The fluorescent paint adds a very interesting dimension.

Others are right, Clarkson and crew missed a trick with this.

I think it would have looked cleaner based on the LP400..

Would like to see in "in the metal", just to see if it looks as freaky as it does in the photos.smile

Aye - A consortium including DH.
If you did that with shares you'd get jailed.

If I could afford a dwelling large enough, with enough empty space to do the piece justice, then £40k isn't really that much as a percentage of my imaginary wealth.

If I won the lottery, £40k wouldn't be that much at the end of the day, and I'd consider it.

I think it would look ace as a centre piece to the entrance of a large house from my lottery win ....... Alternatively, I might be considered to be Michael Carroll the second, and the height of bad taste wink

Sell this one and 1 or 2 more to art collectors and than get the REAL thing.

That is my suggestion to the artist.

Love it though. This wireframe Lambo, not Automan...
Funny you should say that, I was going to make exactly the same comment. Shame on Pistonheads for drawing a comparison to Tron rather than remembering the true petrol head's classic that is Automan lol
