Fabulous videos but give me a break - that Panamera is just so goddamn ugly - I thought Porsche had learnt its lesson with the Cayenne. Stick to what you know and looks good...
Have you seen one on the road though? So much better in the flesh than in pics.
Yes, I have seen them on the road and they are both goddamn UGLY !!!!!!!!

None of the Porsche drivers I've ever met here have anything remotely to do with motorsport. Frankly, they don't like driving their cars in the rain lest they rust.

I agree, I am warming to the Panamera a lot. I mean, I'd never buy one, but in the right colour, up close they look pretty cool. Silver does them no favours, dark colours are best. Cayenne still a travesty though.

Hello - My name is Asterix and my lowly Cayman S is used as a runabout during the week and then as an instructors/pace car for Porsche Club track days - often running up around 400km per day on track.

Nice to meet you.

the RS Spyder isn't up running with the Audis and Peugeots in the top classes quote]

to be fair the RS Spyder often gave the Audis a fair and square kicking in the ALMS, despite being in P2 as opposed to P1. I agree its not a legendary car though when you look at the somewhat limited competition the Spyder has raced against. Can't be long before we have a Porsche LMP1 car again though, then we can see how they fare against Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lotus, Audi and Peugeot.

There are atleast 3 threads about Porsche this week - pretty hard to avoid.

This is an open forum where conflicting opinions are expected, not a Porsche/BMW/Audi wk-fest.

they are offered but not long suffered.
