Noticed one of their (appalling) adverts...has anyone done this? As far as I can make out, it's two cars but one policy (how does that work?) and apparently cheaper. Is it really worth it, or is it all marketing bxllocxs?

Great idea...

Have a claim against one car, lose no claims on both...

I've compared it many times over the past 2+ years since they launched it - and they are usually about 15%-20% more expensive than 2 separate policies - which also offer more benefits than the Admiral one.

I wasted a few minutes of my life trying to get the answers to those questions at the last renewal. It was an utter waste of time. I have no idea what their target market is but I'm not it.

Do you know that to definitely be the case as I have three cars on a policy and they needed separate ncb for each and you nominated which driver was to earn any extra ncb for each car. Two of the cars are mine on ncb I have earned and one my wife's on her ncb.

Opinion seems mixed. I guess there's only one way to find out...waste a few hours of my getting a quote.

Sorry mybrainhurts but your incorrect there if you have a claim on one car it will not affect the ncb on the other at all.

You can get a quote online, does not take too long. It really starts to work for three cars iirc.

Beem with Admiral for years. Consistently the cheapest, good level of cover and English call centres.

I can't comment on Multicar though.

Works for me.

Need business use for both.

Civic type R(08) for me, and FR-V(59) for the missus, although she has just got this, but had a similar 06 model.

Just over £500.

Renewal due in March, will be interesting!

I am using it, they were really expensive when we got the quote. The easiset haggle in the world saw me knock almost 50% off the total bill, so it seems they try it on a bit.

I have to say I like Admiral.

I'm with them, and they've been extremely helpful during my non-fault claim. Their call center staff are fantastic, they're the cheapest quote by far, and offer price matching of any comparable quotes.

Got this on my motor and the olds' merc estate, which saved £150 on the cheapest separate quotes I could find; nasty feeling they'll try and rape me on renewal though.

Absolutely not true. Individual no claims on each policy.
