No offence, but that is a shocking plate. Nice car though thumbup
Agree with you completely, but its tongue in cheek/quite funny, better than a random set of numbers and letters IMO, its spelt correctly with no letters tampered with(i know the spaciing is out) and i should be able to sell it for a healthy profit (I have been offered £1500 cash already) woohoo so i can live with any negative comments smile

ETA : i thought it best to put it on here before someone else did or before it ended up in the wrong thread!

Sorry, but its pure chav. If someone will really give you money for it, sell it and get something better.

I posted a few pages back about Focus ST and chavplates and here's another one.

SO0 is Sooty's panda girlfriend.

5WAG or SWAG as its 'meant' to say just says thief. Sorry but its a chronic plate I would snatch they guys hand off who offered £1500 never mind £2K.

Cheers for the correction. Don't totally agree with all of the comments but as previously stated i can live with it plus i paid peanuts for it and most people "get it" .

I have another one on my bike that is proably worse. Ill post a pic when i can and hand myself in to the "PH chav plates police" before i'm shopped by someone else smile

Just for reference it is FR08MEE (my surname is Froome/nickname at school was Froomee) altered to read FR00MEE

Seriously if someone is daft enough to offer £2,000 for that plate, rip their hand off.
It means absolutely nothing and if people "get it", you must mix with some illiterates.laugh

Fair play to you to post that up here and take the abuse manfully!! Good luck with getting your 2x2, although if you want 'AF' you may have to compromise. AF ## was issued from 1903 - 1923, and neither AF 85 nor AF 86 are showing as on cars, so most likely scrapped. AF 85 sold for £5000 in 2006 and AF 86 went for £3300 in 2009 at DVLA auctions. If you are willing to live with a 4 x 2, you could ask DVLA to put 1986 AF into an auction - that's never been issued or sold? Either way, I look forward to seeing it in the Real Good thread, completely legally displayed, of course!

Following on from this does anyone know how to ask DVLA to put a plate up for auction? as the 4 x 2 would be perfect for me. I have seen AF86 up for sale and i was going to attend the auction but didn't have the funds (due to saving for a house purchase which is now thankfully out of the way).

At the time i purchased my original plate the F prefix had not yet been released and no time scale was given on when it would be. Plus that plate is about 4 times the price of what i paid and would need to be similarly mis spaced but i have got my eye on it just don't think its worth the money.

It's a question because the question mark indicates to the reader where the intonation of the sentence should be placed.
