Need to skip to 2m 50s for comedy duo Mike and Dave. Half the video is them attempting to pull out into a busy road.

Genius hehe

Jesus Christ, there are some idiots on PH! Despite all the posts above, it seems some people still think this is a genuine scam.

How is it not a scam?

The amount of money for each installment depends on how much the project will cost to build. When the Client and SR has entered into an agreement stipulating what the Client wants to build and what specifications the Client wants the replica to be built to and is signed in the contract, then SR will build the car by stages. Each stage requires a part payment until the completion of the car. No payment is made until the Client is satisfied that the specified stage written in the contract has been completed. If the project is worth US$20,000.00: The first stage payment for the deposit will cost US$3000.00. The second stage payment for the donor car purchase will cost US$4500.00. The third stage payment for the Chassis modification stage will cost US$2500.00 The fourth stage payment for the carbonfibre mixed with kevlar kit car body assembled on the chassis stage will cost US$2500.00 The fifth stage payment for the Auto paint color sprayed and finished stage will cost US$2500.00 The sixth stage payment for the Installation of lights stage will cost $1500.00 The seventh stage payment for the Interior Stage will cost US$2500.00 The eighth stage payment for the Turn key Stage will cost US$1000.00

as i can see on the 'net' people have lost physical money to them with nothing to show. therefore his is what normal people would call a scam.

Why do you think it is a joke when it clearly shows deceiving sales techniques in there videos which are real cars?

If it's supposed to be 'real', and anyone was taken in, then they deserve to lose money, IMO. And I have been guilty of underestimating the stupidity of the general public. Oh, hang on...

'UNDER THE HOOD
SUPERREPLICAS WARNING
September 5, 2012

I'd like to take some time here on our official blog to warn our fans, and really anyone involved in the automotive industry, about a company called Super Replicas which has been infringing on our trademarks and our intellectual property. It is unfortunate that I am required to take such action but I want it to be known to all that we are in no way associated with Super Replicas or any of the various entities they operate under such as Top Gear Reproductions and SR Foose Kits.

Again, myself Chip Foose and my company Foose Design are in no way affiliated with Super Replicas and never have been. If you go to their websites you will likely find pictures of me and videos that have been poorly edited in order to fool people into thinking I have an affiliation with them. Most noticeable is a video in which a Mr. Rither Sanchez claims that I came to Panama for a business meeting with Super Replicas and includes images of myself and Mr. Sanchez. All of these images were taken from an event in Panama I made an appearance at on behalf of my longtime sponsor, BASF Automotive Refinish Paints. Mr. Sanchez waited in the autograph lines that were open to the public just like everyone else. He shot video and edited it in an attempt to make it seem as though we are connected. Again, we are not. You will never find any footage of me promoting, endorsing or otherwise advocating Super Replicas because it does not exist.

Numerous lies and misrepresentations can be found on their associated sites. They claim my name is Samuel Foose Jr., it is not. They also use pictures of my father and work associates, like Charley Hutton, and claim they are also involved; they are of course not. Perhaps most disturbing to me and my family is their use of imagery of my sister Amy who passed away from Progeria and their claims to donate proceeds to children with terminal illnesses.

Please do not be fooled by Super Replicas, their lies and their untruths. Foose is not involved with this company and never would be. I have spent a lifetime working on vehicles and I love what I do. It is a shame to see someone attempt to take that and use it for their own shameless endeavors.

You can always reach out to us on our facebook page and on our twitter account if you ever have any questions relative to myself, Chip Foose, or my company, Foose Design.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we appreciate your support.

Thank you
-CHIP'

it is like looking at the 419 scams, 99% know it is a scam they only need that 1% to believe it.

AdeTuono,
Without trying to stir more fuel into your firey nature, I was clearly making a comment about a bogus company that does claim to be legit, (please look at their website)I know that they are not real and you know they are not real, but you seem to think that they are doing all this for a prank nothing short of fun, Please don't come onto a public forum and slate other members inteligence, it is rather rude, if you have an attitude problem, then please by all means take ten deep breaths and chill a little.

Now, please check out their website and look into this a little further and ask yourself why someone would go to tons of trouble to build a website including costs etc, because unfortunately there ARE people out there who will be taken in by sr selling tactics and these people are not generaly stupid in any way, they just don't have the in depth knowledge either about cars or they are just easily lead so please don't insult anyone, have you ever been lead on by someone? I bet at some point in your life you have, who do you vote for in the government? Did they muck up?or anyone else in your lifetime? well, I rest my case.
Please go and take a chill pill and hopefuly this post can carry on without anymore roasting.
peace
