I quite like it on the internet. It'd just look stupid in real life.
Yes, a mate of mine made the same mistake with his wife. On the plus side his takeaway costs have been slashed.

While I somehow like the backside of this Lumma design version, the overal design doesn't look good IMHO.

When I saw the first sketches, I hated the X6 and immediately assumed someone at BMW had lost their mind. After seeing the first pictures, I was sure at least an entire team at BMW had lost their collective minds.

However, every day when I drive to work I see a white X6 coming the other way. Yes, it's big and it's pointless, but to be honest I can think of a lot of cars way uglier than that X6.

Still wouldn't want to have one, though...

Awful car.

Seems to attract middle-aged bullies having a life crisis.

Had one follow me onto an on ramp, floor it to catch up with me then brake hard to tailgate me, then he is weaving all over the road impatient (I am doing the speed limit). Then I signal to the middle lane when on the motorway, then he goes left and floors it.

No need for that sort of tailgating action in a big heavy car like that. It is intimidating and my car is low making it worse.

As much as i hate this car, having that much power is respectable.
Can you even use that power on the street in a car with tons of Driver aids?

It's just a Dick measuring contest thing.

I bet you can get a better launch out of a full manual with less power if you know what you are doing.

You will NEVER see one in the left hand lane. And for those reading in braille, that was bold, italics and upper case.

IMHO, it looks much better than BMWs original effort.

good effort, to take something that big and bulky and make it look correctly proportioned and purposeful.

I'd have one...

Suprisingly it seems to hide some of the X6's ugliness, I kinda like this. In the pics it looks like some ordinary hatch, apart from the second to last one. Although when seeing it on the streets its a different matter altogether.
Nothing to give scale in the pics...
I'm guessing they couldn't get anything big enough into the studio...
