Shhh, it's broken down. whistlegetmecoat
As someone once said to me (which left me speechless) "A TVR never ever breaks down, it just takes a rest when it feels like it"
hehe In the same vein as A Rolls Royce doesn't break down, it "fails to proceed". ...
My sisters car used to reach it's time of the month. Which involved sitting in the driveway and refusing to start

I bought an S reg Chim 450 from the same dealer in 2001. It was a great looking car, low mileage and the dealer was superb. I finally had to find someone more local in Surrey because it was just too far to drive for routine maintenance.

TVRs are high maintenance, and expensive to own. The windscreen wipers were awful, fuel economy terrible, build quality very suspect, and I could never really turn off the heater. I had to keep a spray can of contact glue in the gararge so I could keep the heat blanket glued to the inside of the bonnet. Two wheel alignments in two years. A left door that would sometimes open on it's own while driving. What a piece of rubbish ! I wish I still had it. smokin

I'm still a little confused as to the appeal of the Rangie,
Once you've owned one, you'll know. Like TVRs, they get under your skin.
Its all well and good saying that, and I am inclined to believe you... however people say the same thing about VW Camper vans, and they are totally awful to drive. They have no redeeming qualities and aren't even that good to camp in... wink
You shouldn't trust people with VW Campers. They all have terrible wind and are high on drugs.

Rangies are a different story. Very.
