It also appears to be blowing into the air filter box, which will be a mite ineffective , unless the pipework is routed around the battery for some reason, perhaps into an intercooler.

I would too, its a joke how these people take it oh so seriously, for the real old skoolers here may remember the old Morris Cowley's like the Minor but very rare now - I had one and it was air suspension, matt black with steels, pinstriping and 'frenching' did not go down well at the morris conventions and on the forums - fair play I ruined a classic piece of history.
At Christmas I drive around with reindeer antlers on my BMW as well as 4ft Santa that sits in my passenger seat - its all childish and for a laugh.
