Wouldn't 1.5s to 60mph make it quicker to that than an F1 wagon?

The road version won't be able to do 1.5s to 60 simply because to do that you need ridiculous rear tyres (Like red victor). Which means it won't go round corners and will look rediculous. Personally I think they might make it go 300mph, on the salt flats, highly modified, after which it will blow up and need rebuilding. Independents will never be able to match the Veyrons engineering.

Seems very, "Lets shove as many bhp in it as possible and hope for the best" to me. Although it does look good!

Isn't there a Ford GT that's doing the 260ies at the moment? So it can't be too difficult. The profile looks like wind resistance will be managed and if it's light enough (and can stay on the ground!), it may not be a simple horsepower game...

Thats looks as good as the Veyron looks ugly.
And it's as imaginary as the Veyron is real.

Drop a decent engine in it with 500bhp and sell it at 911 prices.
Couldn't agree more, it looks fantastic so they might aswell make something that people will actually buy.

There website looks pretty amateur tbh.

Interesting shape. Relatively clean sufaces, nice rear fender and tail.
For my taste, the Front sections are a bit too Porsche GT, but overall well designed,IMO.

Regardless of the 'can it, can't it?' question, I think that is a very handsome looking automobile.
I quite agree, i couldn't care less if it did surpass the veyron, this looks lovely, i bet it will sound it too. What is with this race to be the fastest that has gripped us all. Getting fed up with Nurburg ring lap times.. oh another 1000th of a second has been shaved off... bore off.

I would rather a tasty looking bird with huge norks, short skirt sitting beside me - whilst bearded folk time drivers driving round to shave those millsecs off. Maybe a nosh off the bird to finsih it off.

sorry had a few beers at lunch

Is it just me or does the press release read like it's been through some translation software?

Looks nice, but if it hits 300mph anywhere other than on GT5 I'll be suprised.

300mph? Sounds practical. And reliable.
Do you get a 60,000 mile warranty too?

I'm building a Vauxhall Chevette with a Tornado engine strapped to it that can do 400mph.

Isn't the land speed record 763 mph? So isn't this a tad slow for a record attempt?
