Ouch that looks nasty, so the perpetrator hasn’t been caught?
Nope. Next car down the lane wasn't for 5 minutes and he saw nothing. No dashcam either.janesmith1950 said:
Look on the bright side, if you needed to change the bulb on your nearside headlight, now’s the time to do it!
Look closely and you'll see the indicator bulb on the road!Lordbenny said:

It wasn’t his fault.
Can you elaborate?2manycars said:
So today was a charity day. As you guys know I do a lot of charity work, I had a message off my mate who had a family reach out to him about their sons 5th birthday today, he’s terminally ill and his wish is to go in a Ferrari Pista as that’s his favourite car in the world.
It was in my mates area so I asked him if he wanted to take my Pista, I trusted him as he has lots of Ferrari’s himself, I couldn’t make it today as I was taking my daughter to a party and the wife was at a baby shower.
He was travelling at 60mph on a national limit road, this was genuine too as a copper was behind him so he couldn’t boot it if he wanted to.
Anyway a Ford Focus pulled out of a side road and he swerved round the car hitting mud on the road that the local farmer had left on there (he’s getting in trouble for this too as the copper skidded too). Anyway he hit a post and lots of bushes, airbags went off, trapped in the car and badly damaged.
Needless to say the poor birthday boy never got to see his favourite car.
Here’s the photos

Yeah, they aren’t actually talking about your crash. This isn’t the echo chamber thread.
Oh I’m sorry you tosser, there was a few conversations going on and I thought they was talking about my crash. I do apologise for taking up a little bit of internet space. Now if you’ve not got anything to add to this thread please go back to stroking your cats. 2manycars said:

Yeah I lent it to a mate who was doing me a favour as I was too busy to take part in the charity event.
I wasn’t pissed and luckily no one was hurt (just goes to show how strong carbon fibre weave actually is), Ferrari is sorting the car out for me and I’ve got a Pista Spider coming so it’s all good.
Nah no need to drown my sorrows, st happens I guess.
I've read your other thread too - once again you're showing the sort of attitude that's an example to all of us. Can't imagine too many people being so sanguine with a bent Pista that they weren't even driving at the time I wasn’t pissed and luckily no one was hurt (just goes to show how strong carbon fibre weave actually is), Ferrari is sorting the car out for me and I’ve got a Pista Spider coming so it’s all good.

I feel a bit sorry for your mate though - imagine having to call someone to tell them you'd stuffed their Ferrari...

Fair play for not being annoyed. I lent a mate my knackered BMW. He scratched it. Accidentally.
I was mightily pissed off at the time.

I bet you was pissed off, it’s all relative though. I love a good used BMW, what was it? E36, E34, E46??Fair play for not being annoyed. I lent a mate my knackered BMW. He scratched it. Accidentally.

very much this ^^^ my mate's mrs had to phone me a few years ago to advise he'd stacked my then Camaro (a lot lower down the automotive food-chain but still worth a lot to me), TBH all I was interested in was that he was ok. The car was very much a secondary consideration, fella was doing me a favour and I knew he wasn't the sort to be dicking around in it.2manycars said:

I did have an E36 318is. Stupidly sold it. Regretted it as the new owner drove it down the road.
Found it recently - abandoned outside his office in Stoke on Trent. Accident damaged. Nothing major but he only had third party insurance so couldn’t afford the repairs.
All it needs is a dent pulled out of the front offside wing & a new air dam. Both of which I could get done for next to nothing.
Annoyingly he won’t sell it back too me.
