Not me, but passed this in the middle of nowhere in Dumfries and Galloway. It was presumably on its way to help build wind turbines. Don't know whether he drove off the road, or the tarmac crumbled under the weight, but the verges were that soft that the drivers side wheels were completely buried...

When in D&G the army often do a good job of putting large vehicles (and not so large) off the road themselves. It's not a rare occurrence!

I posted this a few years ago but today's the 5th anniversary. My son has just message saying that's reassuring to know that I was already losing the plot before the crash, and not because of it!

I know that junction well , accidents are a fairly regular occurrence there

I saw those pics and thought "wow, somehow managed to get 3 cars involved and one has ended up deep in the ditch" when i realised that was actually the roof off your Audi that the brigade had nicely turned into a converterable for you! :-)

If you keep shunting cars around short journeys in and out the workshop / car dealer etc those monitors all do that especially if the refresh rate of the instrument is frequent
