This morning on Dave was the Top Gear from 2006, the bargain supercar challenge.

I tried to see where all 3 cars are now. Neither are picked up on the car tax online vehicle enquiry.

Here are the registrations: A 11 RFT , JOK 229N and SRW 48N

What did Top Gear do to the cars after the filming ?

Flanders.

Also along the same lines, when they had to Parallel Park, James hits that Nissan behind quite hard, who's car was it and did they pay for it to be fixed?

I'd guess that belonged to TG.

I thought even the old cars still needed a disc, even if it is free. I might be wrong, it's happened once before.

As has been said Hammond kept his 308 and had it restored.

JC's Merak is being broken for spares by Eurospares:

No idea about Mays Urraco.

You'd hope so....otherwise even in his financial position I think I would have had a pretty major sense of humour failure in his shoes..!

You should budget about a grand a year in servicing at a specialist & normal running replacements if you use it as a weekend car. Triple that if you intend to use it daily, but if you do I`d recomend you get it rustproofed.

I`ve heard rumours that theres a 308GTB that used daily, has done around 250,000 miles & has been serviced by its owner. He`s obviously a pretty good mechanic...

Has anyone else realised that they are advertising it as a Merak 'SS' When even clarkson said on a TV show with about 7million people watching, that he found a recipt for an SS badge laugh

What puzzled me about that was "A11 RFT" - a 1983 (?) plate on a 308 GT4? I thought it was illegal to transfer a reg number to a car that was older than the reg indicated?

The dvla have Clarkson's car listed as being manufactured in 1975, the 'ss' was apparently not launched until 1976.

Doesn't the 'A' plate cover 1983/1984?
