I'm not really a fan of these updated versions of past models but it certainly looks better than the one that was at the shows a few years back:

I used to like that Fenomenon thingy, but this new one knocks it into touch. In fact, I may get shot for this, but I think the new one looks even better than the original. Apart from the headlights, anyway.

Nice but if it is Ferrari money sales will be small.

I suppose it's quite good looking, in a rather quirky kind of way, but I don't really get why everyone is making such a fuss about it.

There is something very Elise-like about both the stance and some of the styling detail.

I'd rather see the Lancia Fulvia concept making it to production.

Lets be honest this is what the 8C should have been from day one, just make sure this one handles!
It really is a great looking modern take on the Stratos cool .....but I dont know why anyone would want the 8C to look like that, when its beautiful and distinctively Alfa as it is! rolleyes

The Stratos has been my dream car since i was about 6,, but this just doesnt tick any boxes for me. Its a decent enough looking wee car, but it certainly isn't beautiful in the same way the original was.

Which idiot released pics of it in dull Geman silver?

I want it in Bastos Red n white or Air Italia.

And I want Sandro Munari handing me the keys.

Someone *please* tell me it is an evil handling bh to drive that feels like it deliberately wants to spit you sideways and kill you every time you turn the wheel even a degree off centre.

I need to make some enquiries.

According to this weeks Autocar the one seen testing is a one off that has built for a car enthusiast industrialist and is based on a shorterned 430 Scuderia. So at the moment no real plans are in place to build them for other customers
Which is partly what we said last week: (this is linked in the story already, but here you go) smilehttp://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyI...

Very nice. I also looked at Hawk Stratos kit cars many years ago, such was my urge to drive a Stratos. There was a review in the EVO mag a few years ago of a proper Stratos in their Scarry Cars issue... I think the driving postion is very elise like in that you rub shoulders with the passenger.
