It was the BP Portugal Revival on the back of WRC Portugal this year. Was fun seeing the MKIIs/911 on the stagaes but didnt see the Stratos out there.

This is the best online rumourmongering I’ve seen outside of Apple product announcements.

“We’ve got blurry photos”
“There’s going to be a new Stratos”
“It’s a one-off, for this rich bloke”
“Here’s some better photos”
“It’s not a one-off, it’s going into production”
“A different rich bloke is paying for it all”

… and not one single bit of evidence or even a quote from anyone involved yet.

I’ll bet the story changes completely again at least once more before any actual facts come to light.

(I’m not blaming Pistonheads, I’m amused by all the car mags and websites around the web blatantly making things up. PH is just reporting afterwards.)

I think this one looks great.

Then again, I think that other than the headlights and front grille, plus larger lips on the wheelarches, it looks VERY MUCH like the original. Which, of course, I like.

And how many 8Cs have you driven. Just wondering because the one I drove handled well, sounded amazing and went like a stabbed rat!! It's hardly a clothes horse!
As far as the Stratos being made by Bertone that would make sense owing to the fact that the group now own them. Looks like they may well be doing the next Alfa Spider too.

I think this looks stunning! A great modern day version of the legend itself. Still has that shape to it. Love it!
