As well their practice of being more than a 'little' generous re. their power outputs too, eh...? wink

I'm glad they fixed the side windows in this new Stratos...

the old car is beautiful but not with those side-windows half open...its a laugh, looks like something broke what you get sometimes in old cars, you want to wind down the window and one side drops out the rail biggrin

the new one is normal
There was a reason for the windows not dropping all the way down: The space in the doors was needed for the helmets of driver and co-pilot.

The original Stratos is one of my all time favourites, but the front of the new car just doesn't look right to me unfortunately. frown

Interesting stuff. Like the new one. I'm broke though so can only dream. I remember when Austin Rover sold off all the unwanted Metro 6R4s. There was a half page advert in Motoring News with a photo of a yard full of them. Price was £10k or £12k each I think. Quite a lot of money then but would have been a pretty good investment.

The badly-timed RS200 suffered a similar fate... frown

I think the headlights would look better if they were squarer at the top.
There is nothing else I can fault in it's appearance.
Alfa V6 likely?

Seriously doubt they would go to this much trouble only to put in that GM derived JTS V6 in it.
Article says Ferrari V8 anyway.

For the third time now, on 3 separate "new Stratos" threads, that is an achingly beautiful car. Want.

Why not keep original body and wheels with 458 chassis and engine. That would be fun!
