That looks epic! Shame nothing in the range will bear any resemblance to it when arriving at the showroom, but still .. cloud9

With Ford still holding the purse strings, and them not wanting Mazda to have anything better than there current designs, I can't see this going ahead.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Mazda 6 is a very good looking car?
No because I actually quite like it too.

Fortunate coincidence that Ford sold approx. 20% of their Mazda-stocks in 2008, so they're now shareholder...

I just hope it will not replaced by some painted whitegoods for production smile

It's a nice looking concept, but it doesn't look as if there is space for a transverse engine in the front of that to me. It would be lovely to believe that Mazda might make a RWD saloon, but I can't see it happening and that design really doesn't look like it would translate well into a FWD car.

Looks awesome, but a tenner says it never makes production frown

Hasn't the EU regulations put an end to the rotary engined stuff then? Considering their poor economy I'd be suprised if they could continue making them.

Do we reckon the RX8's successor will ditch the rotary? If they plan to build a practical, affordable RWD 2+2 coupe with a sensible engine I might even be tempted to part with some cash...
Think about what the R stands for!!
hehe

Good point. They can call it whatever they like if it's got the RX8s pace and handling in a slightly more reliable/frugal package.

Great looking car - good to see manufacturers starting to produce nice looking sleek cars again rather ugly things just to "stand-out" from the crowd.

The RX8, MX5, 3 MPS and 6 MPS not enough for you?

Ok I obviously have a soft spot for Mazda. But compared to the Toyotas of this world they are producing some interesting cars.

I'm loving this (even though some might say the front end is a bit of a Jag rip-off), it definitely is a very agreeable design - let's hope they doesn't dilute it too much... Well done Mazda!
Well to be fair, the new xk8 is more of an Aston Martin rip-off.

About the shinari, I think it's absolutely beautiful. I love what Mazda have done with the 3 and 6. Definetly more interesting than their rivals

I'll take your point with the 6, but the 3 just looks stupid. A silly grin like a cheshire cat.

Is it me... Or did they really copy lots of the Maserati GT?? The lights and front nose is very similar in my opinion.

It looks nice as its more or less copied from pininfarina's design.. At least thats my opinion.
