Looking forward to seeing the results of this. Reminds me of the bloke who put a 50cc scooter engine on a bar stool.

OK. So over the past week we have been getting it stripped down to stick the engine in. We know the engine will fit but the seat won't go over the engine so we are going to raise it. If this works it will make the center of gravity a lot higher than what we consider safe though to be honest the whole thing is unsafe so it doesn't really matter.

Steering. It has some, wether it will be able to handle turing at speeds over 5mph is anybodys guess.

Suspension. Errr.... well get back to you on this one.

We can't figure out how to do the gears though but I am sure we can jerry up something.

Gogs and gearing for the chain. I would say we have this completey wrong. So the gearing is way way out.

Today the engine will be fitted and hopefully it will be able to move under its own power by the end of the day! Our young inexperienced test driver will be having a quick spin round the yard tomorrow morning. We decieded that doing the testing ourselves could result in severe injury and as a result set this project back so my mates little brother is stepping into the breach. He has just recently passed his test and considers himslf the best driver in the world so we know our creatation is in capable hands.

We hope that testing goes as expected, we have a first aid kit ready and we did promise our test driver that a helmet will be available.

So by Sunday there should be a link on youtube of the first test drive.

Pictures will be posted today if I can find the cable to connect the camera to the laptop.

I shall suggest that we call it The Creation 2000 S-Line

One small but pertinent point: Do mobility scooters have brakes?

A walking-stick with a shoe firmly attached might help in this department. hehe

S-line. hehe

I've always wanted to do this, insanely jealous that you're able to do it and I'm not. Pics and video eagerly anticipated.

yes

I'm having thoughts now. My Mum has been asking me to help her get rid of an Aunt's electric scooter...

Now I just need to find a friend with a written-off Hayabusa.

Good question. We just presumed it did.

Doesn't matter anyway our test driver is
awseome by his own admission and expendable.

You need to go to the charity shop and buy a flat cap and old mans clothes before driving this, jackass style

Anyone have any ideas of what we could use?

Urm, how about a fuel tank?! Surely you can just get one from a quad bike etc? Failing that, if you can just use gravity feed, just bastardise a green plastic jerry can thing!

Get to work! I want video!
