Haven't we had one of these on here before? Seems to ring a bell. Quite a retro-cool 80's box though, nice smooth italian V6, but do they sound any good, i.e. is it related to the Alfa V6?
You're right! We had one back in January 2009 (how time flies) http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=162&i=192...All previous sheds can be found here http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=162
Quite simply, why would you bother when you could have the much better looking (and cheaper, in this case) brother.

Not the prettiest thing in the world is it? Wasn't there a version of these with a Ferrari V8? 8.32 rings a bell as in 8 cylinders 32 valves. Anyone own one is those?
I knew a guy about 10 years ago in watford who had a bright red one plastered in ferrari badges, had a very loud exhaust and it used to fly away from the traffic lights!! Always liked it, sadly it must have rusted in to oblivion by now....chazwozza said:

No, not related to the Alfa. These early models use a PRV V6
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRV_engine
So a common enough engine, slightly odd sound as it is 90 degree rather than the usual 60 degree but overall still a lovely warble.
My brother had one, later sold to my dad so I managed quite a few miles in it. Felt very wafty and civilised

Nice enough car for what it is... as long as you don't mind getting your hands dirty every weekend.
Oh, and 148 bhp from a 2.9 V6?

The headlight wipers have certainly seen better days. I imagine that car (the Saab) has a few tales to tell at that price!
The all go. Don't know why. My previous 9000 suffered this, and so does my current one. My one cost 695 too, is a late 2.3 Anniversary and has been brilliant. Why do you think it will be able to tell tales?!

"Re-map by Motorsport Developments with Maptune re-map for 252BHP and rolling road proof!"
Translation: It's been ragged to death by an idiot, who's selling it because it uses more oil than petrol now.
As for the Lancia - yeah, it's not the prettiest, but it's similar to most late '80s saloons. It wouldn't look out of place next to a Vauxhall Senator for example.
