Sorry but couldn't pay £33k for a car that ugly, why not get a GTI if your spending this amount- it's got a bit of class. All IMO of course.
what gti? a golf? ermm this would piss
on a golf.
oh well the looks, interior and overall quality piss on a Subaru.
i think you are missing the point of why people would want to buy an impreza sti, usually they dont want to spend good money on a blandmobile as they prefer more outlandish looks and are generally more interested in performance than image.
fine then, Put a body kit on the golf and tune
it.
yes because thats the exact same thing rofl maybe turn it awd too laugh
Oh yeah, well atleast it won't have a Subaru badge on it. :/

You've used a ste comparison and are now digging yourself a hole.
Back to my earlier point- with a 296bhp Impreza saloon now sitting at £33k, it's right in the same kind of price region as an S4. Is the Impreza more fun? Probably. Is it better as a car? Probably not.

Subaru shooting themselves in the foot with their pricing somewhat.

It does seem expensive but the S4 would list at say 40k with the usual extras they don't include added to the car, can't understand why the spoiler isn't on the UK car as it livens the back up a treat and is a signature of the STI brand.

It looks a bit IS-F from some angles

I couldnt give a rats ass about the badge, but tell me of an AWD, rally derived, turbo, 300bhp saloon made by VW that I can get for the same money and could give your porsche a run for its money on a b road?

haha, how blinkered you are. subarus cars are nothing like vauxhalls. and you really think a vw is a step up? why because it has a german badge? you really are sounding more than just a little foolish now. laugh

agreed and at least you know the front from the back not like the coxster and that other poor mans porsche

the guy is just a badge snob, i could afford a 911 if i wanted one but dont like the image they give off

i will never forget the line in minder, a snob saying " you cant arrest me i've got a porsche " thats says all we need to know

its just something that the majority of german car owners do, they cant help it they dont know any better

I think you've grabbed the complete wrong end of the stick there.
The poster originally said that the Golf GTi was better than the Impreza then came out with above crap about Subaru being a step up from Vauxhall.
