Anything else you can buy today, yes. I'd argue that the mk3 MR2 was closer in ethos to the mk1 Elise than the current Elise is.
I have never driven one - do they drive like an S1 then? They certainly got good reviews when they first came out, but they're slower than an S1 and about 100kg heavier than a current S2. They look a lot more luxuriously trimmed than my car - plush seats, fully trimmed dashboard and door cards, no bare metal at all - and they've all got power steering.otolith said:

They don't really bare much technical resemblance to the S1, and as you say they aren't very fast. They just somehow feel more similar to the K-series engined Elises than the Toyota engined ones do. Maybe it's the weight distribution or maybe it's just me being odd?otolith said:

Didn't spot that - slightly more credible then, but where's the image from, does it say?
Got myself a copy - the image is made up by AutoCar by applying elements of Abarth's 60's models to the scale and layout of the current Elise. That article says that it won't be Elise based, though, instead using a spaceframe chassis, so I think the rendering of an Elise with Abarth badges is unlikely to be anything like the real car.Js had to join this site to get a few things straight about abarth , so its my first PC ,
I did the final score on the roadster concept , and the engine for the alfa C4 . Not sure whats all goin on in there but im assuming they have the hydraulic valve engine in one somewhere .
The score was too design the car to the best of abilitys around the use of the citreon C1 gearbox , which has the diff on the front , the one that I would have thought just gone staight into the lotus glovebox .
Hey , I do all the work around here , anyway thats why it looks like an elise . minus the hugh induction system off the front of the car , concept or no concept , which nicked off the front of my lancia prisma .lol
I hope nobody reads this , because I aint supposed to own the company , nobody is allowed to do any work and well , by no suggestion is anydody going to pimp out the alfa C4 !
