Hi
My name is Robert Griffiths and I am Fundraising Manager at the Martlets Hospice in Hove. I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" to everybody who has supported Lily and Russell in visiting the Martlets last Saturday with their cars and in making donations to support the care of patients at the Hospice. I know that the support and interest shown by everybody has been really important to both of them at this most difficult time. Our thanks go to you all, as do our wishes for a very happy Christmas.

I haven't managed to post over the weekend as I was away and following events via the phone.
Well done to all of you who turned out on Saturday, the cars looked fab, glad to see Santa Claus put in an appearance as well
Haven't managed to get past the first couple of minutes of the tunnel run footage yet, but the car noise at the beginning of the footage is fantastic.
Well done everyone, love and light to Lily and Russell and well done to the Hospice staff and volunteers who give so much comfort to so many people.
Special well done to John for organising the fundraising page and for his efforts on the day and before - I'm sure "it was nothing" but still....

I think there should be a special edition "it was nothing" T shirt It sums up the nicest things about human nature.

You do an admirable, difficult and hugely important job. Thank you and all the rest of the fantstic staff for looking after Lily, Russell and all the other residents. All the staff have been asking about Saturday and were very happy indeed that it went so well. They loved the pictures and many have commented on 'that noise'. Thanks all, it made a lot of people here smile
As if the Hospice didn't do enough as it is, to be completely relaxed about a load of Petrolheads pulling up and making a racket equivalent to a Airbus landing in the car park is very bloody good of them!br d said:
