Nice set of cars there smile . I think I've seen pictures of the Lamborghini AWE550M before, my brother was at some show and took photos, but it was purple. Is it the same car or the same plate on a new car?

Hi

My name is Robert Griffiths and I am Fundraising Manager at the Martlets Hospice in Hove. I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" to everybody who has supported Lily and Russell in visiting the Martlets last Saturday with their cars and in making donations to support the care of patients at the Hospice. I know that the support and interest shown by everybody has been really important to both of them at this most difficult time. Our thanks go to you all, as do our wishes for a very happy Christmas.

I haven't managed to post over the weekend as I was away and following events via the phone.

Well done to all of you who turned out on Saturday, the cars looked fab, glad to see Santa Claus put in an appearance as well biggrin

Haven't managed to get past the first couple of minutes of the tunnel run footage yet, but the car noise at the beginning of the footage is fantastic.

Well done everyone, love and light to Lily and Russell and well done to the Hospice staff and volunteers who give so much comfort to so many people.

Special well done to John for organising the fundraising page and for his efforts on the day and before - I'm sure "it was nothing" but still....

PH Rocks biggrin

Our thoughts are with Lily and Russell and thank them for their warm welcome on Saturday. A great bunch of people, fabulous cars and an abundance of noise!.

You do an admirable, difficult and hugely important job. Thank you and all the rest of the fantstic staff for looking after Lily, Russell and all the other residents. bow

All the staff have been asking about Saturday and were very happy indeed that it went so well. They loved the pictures and many have commented on 'that noise'. Thanks all, it made a lot of people here smile smile

As if the Hospice didn't do enough as it is, to be completely relaxed about a load of Petrolheads pulling up and making a racket equivalent to a Airbus landing in the car park is very bloody good of them!

... I knew it would be OK when I mentioned the initial idea and they said no worries, they've had 35 greeks and a Donkey in one of the rooms before celebrating Easter.

I didn't bat an eyelid, but I did think to myself, that's a bloody big spitroast. I knew then it wouldn't be a problem ..
