Why didnt I think of this?

My Dad actually had one from 1990- 1993, and I remember it was quite fun.
However during that time I owned an F reg Suzuki Swift Gti, and then a J reg Diahatsu Charade GTti and it was not even in the same league performance wise.
Shame there are not many of these old school warm hatches left, Citroen AX Gti, Nova GTE and Polo G40 are others my mates owned at the time. The Polo was fastest out the lot, then the GTti.
Happy dayssss

Won't rot?!
I've only known one person with a Metro - it needed extensive welding doing almost every year for the MOT and it'd only done something ridiculous like 30,000 miles. Horrid thing.
He didn't say it wouldn't rot, just that it wouldn't rot away like a Peugeot.I've only known one person with a Metro - it needed extensive welding doing almost every year for the MOT and it'd only done something ridiculous like 30,000 miles. Horrid thing.
The Metro had a unique, British way of rotting.
