It's a great find which reminds me of Jim Rogers' Millennium SLK/G Wagon crossover.

But please can you stop writing "see what they did there?" in about every third PH article!!! This phrase must have appeared 1,000 times!

the back end actually looks OK!! i think that would actualy look cool if they took all the crap off and gave it a decent paint job, looks like a BMW Compact from the back..
That sounds like you're actually suggesting BMW compacts look ok . . . ?

not really, dont like BMW compacts, but i think the back end on this looks quite interesting the ways its been chopped!! never seen that done before, dont get me wrong the paint, bull bars wheels etc are all a mess, but it must have taken some skill to chop the rear end!

I find it hard to believe you've never seen a Picasso or a Civic.

Im sure that paint is what councils use to stop people pasting posters up on bollards. Presumably so that noone can glue a poster to it telling him its a pile of st.

Which is at odds with my usual "each to their own" philosophy. But the paint is ridiculous. Imagine cleaning it.

It's taken a lot of effort to make that car look so awful.

The boot chop, the fitment of the rear lights, the fabrication of the 'metalwork' attached to it, the paint.

Someone, somewhere, stood back after doing all of that, nodded and thought 'finished at last'

The day after a 190 monster truck is spotted in the UK, we get an article on a Russian 190 with some scaffolding on it...

I was really hoping the bull bars were going to be made form plastic drain pipe, until I saw the spare wheel hanging off them I was laughing out loud.

Very good effort I think, just a terrible idea.

If that is a speedliner paint job and with them beefy bull bars it will be a robust bit of kit.

Hardly a "utility" vehicle anymore - My 190's boot is piss small even without it being chopped off - additionally unless relocated, the fuel tank is now the crumple zone at the rear.
