Recommend some European driving holiday companies

I have just done a search of Octane and here, but only found one firm - ccti.co.uk.

A friend wants a top end tour of Europe, or trip to Italy / Med, with other like minded individuals, with all the hard work of finding hotels, route, etc done for him. He is a 'mature' fella, with a new SL63 and is not looking for a hoon around Europe, more of a fast jaunt with good wine and company. Any thoughts I can pass on to him?

Big thumbs up for Petrolhead Nirvana who are also the offical Pistonheads tour provider. I've been on the Millau, Norway and Alpine Classic tours in the past and am booked on the Welsh and Alpine South tours in 2011.

In my opinion they are very well run and offer good value - personally I cannot think of a better way to spend my holiday leave. They are not only for blokes, my girlfriend loves coming along even though she doesn't drive my car and isn't that interested in cars.

They're not just for super cars, there have been cars like a Mini and an MX5 (in fact I wish I was driving one of those on some of the tighter alpine hairpins). People tend to find their own pace and group together accordingly.

ETA: On the tours I've been on there's no showboating, just making progess on fantastic roads ending in a top notch hotels with a good dinner. Sounds like your friend will fit right in.

I did the Alpine tour last September with these guys and they did an excellent job.
